Back To School

Today was a very special day. It was the first day I got to experience Merissa going back to school. I must admit, I was a little worried for her… back to school can be an overwhelming experience, for teachers and students alike. By the sound of it, things went well. There was a lot of interest by her students in the wedding and the name change, which is pretty neat. My favorite story she told me was of a girl who did not really know “Miss. Feraco” all that well last year, she came up to Merissa today and said “Your name seems different, did you get married or something?”. Classic.

It was a terrific first day back at school! This years first day was very different from other years because Drew and I shared the morning getting ready for work and this year I was able to come home to hubby after a day’s work. Getting back into work mode has been easier because of Drew.
