A Good Day Begins…
…With landing a permanent teaching contract with Edmonton Public Schools!! I am so proud of Merissa. She began the morning at work today by receiving an email informing her of the good news. And then she called me, which made my day as well. Perhaps as a sign, she was on the phone yesterday with someone from her prior school, who informed her that many a parent was upset and disappointed that Merissa would not be teaching there this year. That speaks volumes to the kind of resolve she puts into every day at the front of the class. Hard work never goes (too long) without being noticed and rewarded. Today is Merissa’s day.
