There Are Many Andrews Out There…
In the article from Edmonton Journal writer Scott Mckeen that was a followup to the negative one about Rory/footbag, he begins with a quote from “Andrew” telling him to die. I did not even notice it at first. But then I did notice it, and it made me pause. Was this Andrew Batiuk he was referring to? I made no such comment to him, so I just assumed it was one of the many emails he got from the footbag community. And it was. Scott just called me again to ensure I knew that he was not taking a dig at me with that remark. And he looks forward to meeting Merissa at the finals of the competition!
Oh, and thanks hun, for standing up for me!
In the conversation I had with Scott just now, he laughed at the sheer number of emails (and their contents) that he got from the footbag community. They pretty much all were full of profanity, and more funny then point-full. He made note that it was my email that got him to do a follow up. He would have just laughed on the barrage of emails generated from footbag.org and modified.in otherwise. With that, I will let this issue rest.
