Boy tells abduction tale to skip detention

Posted by Drew on November 24th, 2006

The Edmonton Journal has a story about two fourth graders from Glengarry Elementary School who dreamed up a story about a schoolyard abduction so that one of them could skip out on detention. Police were called in to investigate the story about a woman being taken from a yard into a house near the school. Their search led nowhere, and upon further questioning, the students confessed to the ruse.

Hopefully Merissa never has to deal with stuff like this.
