Edmonton Treasures

Posted by Merissa on November 4th, 2007

Edmonton has some unique little restaurants and cafes! The High Level Diner and the Sugarbowl cafe in the University area are two of Edmonton’s many gems! Both spots are trendy and quaint. I am a big fan of the chai latte at the Sugarbowl and the different types of quiche at the High Level Diner. It looks like both of these iconic eateries will remain a part of Old Strathcona. Check out this link.

The first time I took Drew to the Sugarbowl I wasn’t sure what he would think of it. That evening there was a dj playing music and a local artist had his paintings displayed on the walls of the cafe. I really enjoyed myself and I think Drew was pleasantly surprised with the setting.
